Looking Forward to the Weekend

It's Friday at last!  It hasn't been a bad week, but I'm looking forward to sleeping in a little bit, getting the house back in order, and having the chance to get more than a few dozen words on the page before a distraction steals me away.  Last weekend, the husband and I went to the Farmer's Market on the Square, which is rather massive and awesome.  It's a bit of a pain to get down there, but it is so worth it.  We're mostly browsers.  I love just walking past all the booths and looking at the lovely fresh veggies and goodies that people have to offer.  Last weekend, we picked up a jar of pickles (which turned out to be amazing) and a jar of jam (which we haven't tried yet).  I'm debating sneaking back down this weekend for another jar of pickles (they really are yummy) and some cheese.  (I need some squeaky cheese curd!)

While I am still adjusting at times to living in Wisconsin after spending the bulk of my life in Kentucky, I have to say that we've welcomed the awesome that is cheese into our lives.

So... my agenda for the weekend?

1. Farmer's market (maybe)
2. Write many thousands of words about Gage and the Gang (definitely)
3. Clean the house (unfortunately)
4. Give poor Max a bath (possibly)
5. Catch up on a little sleep (absolutely).

What are you big plans for this lovely weekend?

It's a me weekend. After celebrating a friend's birthday last night, it's Borderlands 1 this morning for 2 hours, talking to my friend in Thailand for awhile, then maybe do laundry. You should try the Bristol Renaissance Faire at the WI/IL border before it closes if you haven't been there yet. I went for the first time last weekend and it was cool especially the jousting.

Thanks for the suggestion! I stumbled over it online recently. We might try next weekend. My husband and I loved the Ren Fest in the Cincinnati, Ohio area and have talked about trying to find one in the area. Have fun with Borderlands. I ended playing a bit of Final Fantasy VII.
