I feel like I'm a little bit of everywhere on the Internet today and it all seemed to pop up unexpectedly, but in a very good way. I don't have much to report at the moment. Writing didn't go as well as I had hoped yesterday due to some regular maintenance issues that I had been avoiding. I did get some words down on paper and a chapter completed, but I was hoping to hit a higher word count for the day. Oh well, there's always today. I'm hoping to make up for some lost ground today.
Just a reminder that time is ticking away for my contest. Just scroll down and leave a comment in Monday's blog entry for a chance to win an e-ARC of my next book Pray for Dawn and Pamela Palmer's Rapture Untamed.
In the meantime, I leave you with some links.
I did a short interview over at Romance Blog By Avon, which is run by my sister publisher Avon. Stop by to check out the interview and win a chance for a copy of Nightwalker!
I have a new entry over at Fangs Fur & Fey if you are interested. It's a little motivation to keep you going when you hit a hard spot in the writing process.
And finally, there's a new group in town and you don't want to miss out! If you use Facebook, you'll want to "Friend" the Supernatural Underground. This is a group of HarperCollins authors that write paranormal and urban fantasy. This is a wild and crazy group that will be discussing books, writing, pop culture, and all kinds of topics. You don't want to miss out on the fun.

Time to Get Serious
I moved to the office today in an effort to get some serious writing done at long last. Recently, I've been sitting on my sofa in the living room with the laptop in my lap. Work has been completed there, but it has been slow. I thought the office may give more of a work aura, which I need. The desk is a disaster area, but I've carved out a section for my laptop. I've got a Vanilla Coke Zero and a large container of ice water at my side. I'm ready to get down to business.
In the meantime, there are a couple things that I would like to point out that you may have missed. To help out with raising money for flood victims in Nashville, a group has gotten together for some great auctions. There are agents and authors offering critiques, there are signed books, and other goodies up for auction. You don't want to miss out on this!! I am looking into making my own donation. If it goes up, I will give another shout. But for now, here is a link to the site called Do the Write Thing for Nashville.
Also, I have posted a blog entry over on Fangs Fur and Fey. I am a contributor to that site, but I haven't made a post in a really long time. This site is for a group of paranormal/urban fantasy authors of all types to make comments and ask questions about the genre and writing in general. There's a great discussion going on right now about what is needed in your vampires. Go over to Fangs Fur and Fey to join in the fun!

Quick News
I look at the clock to find that it is nearly midnight and I shake my head. I was going to go to bed early. I was going to go to bed early and finally catch up on some sleep. Yeah.... I'm beginning to realize that it may be a while before I finally get more than just a few hours of sleep again.
Okay, I'm done with my whining. I did stop in tonight to spread a little good news. I have been kindly invited to join the Fangs, Fur & Fey blogging community, which is filled with some amazing Urban Fantasy authors.

If you have not stopped by to check it out yet, I recommend stopping by. And not just because I will now be posting on that site as well as this one! There you will be able to quickly discover what many of these great writers are working on, when/where they will be signing books, and what panels they will be appearing on.
In other news, I exchanged a few emails with my editor today. We worked on my title. We're close. We have an idea, but it still needs the blessing of the sales/marketing department. As soon as I know the title, I promise to announce it. From there, she's off to work on the cover!!!
