Obstacles

I hate the snow. I do. I really hate the snow. I used to be able to say that I liked the snow and that it was beautiful. But I take it all back now. The roads are crowded with black, dirty snow, my car is filthy, and it remains bitterly cold outside. I want spring back. I want green. I want to open the windows and worry about the breeze ruffling the papers on my desk.

Okay... I'm done whining.

There is still no news on the new series front to give. The publishing game is all about waiting and I have to say that I have become a fairly patient person. (beams proudly) I hoping to hear something by February and then have something to announce by the end of the month.

In the meantime, I am working on a couple of project. One is an old trunk novel that I pull out every once in a while to play with. It's a totally different genre and writing style so the progess is always slow. The other is an urban fantasy novel, but the main character is different from Mira, which means the fight scenes are distinctly different. As a result, I have to dig deeper into that creative brain of mine and find new, exciting ways to beat the pulp out of someone.

Also, today is Tuesday, which means it is new release day. So due your duty and go buy a new book!

look forward to hearing about the new UF book (those are where my heart lies). Go rent some kick ass movies to get some ideas . Maybe a little Bruce Lee or Jet Li. Love me some martial arts ;)

I know what you mean about the snow.... we've had more than our share of it way down here in NC. BTW, hubby dearest calls it "snirt" when it gets to that lovely, black-sooty look...
