More Ink

It’s an addiction and I freely admit to it. It doesn’t help that I’m friends with my “dealer” who only succeeds in luring my deeper into my addition. But I’ve sworn to slow down, simply because I’m running out of space.

Yes, on Wednesday, I popped down to my favorite tattoo parlor and got more ink. This is my fourth tattoo in less than two years. Yes, I know that at this rate I’m going to be completely covered very soon, but as I said, I’m running out of space that can be easily covered for work.

I posted the image of the tattoo on Twitter yesterday along with a contest. I’ve had no winners so far so I’m extending the contest to blog readers. Can you guess the source of the symbol pictured below? I’m looking for something somewhat specific but we’ll just see how close people get. I will give one hint in that it has nothing to do with the Dark Days series.

Leave your guesses in the blog comments section. I will take guesses until December 11. Feel free to make as many guesses as you want. First person to correctly guess wins several copies of my signed books and any additional swag I can dig up.

In the meantime, the copyedits for BURN THE NIGHT have arrived. I’m heading out to the mountains for the weekend so the copyedits are going with me. I’m hoping to get a solid 100 pages done before I get home again.

Hi Jocelynn
My hubby threatened to not marry me when I went to get my first tattoo...he married me anyway!!!
10 years later I got my second tat and he got his first LOL so much for "hating tattoo's"

Does your latest tattoo have something to do with your initials and/or your loved ones initials??
Hope its not too itchy yet:)

Hi Jocelynn. It looks like a broken, twisted heart to me, ready to be mended. But I'm forever a romantic.

.....or could it be your own name jumbled up and made into a symbol?.......

I can't wait for your next book! *squee*

I think it looks like the zodiac symbol for Aries or maybe a dancer.

I have no idea but it's very cool. I just got a tattoo of the battle mark from Vampire Academy on my neck this summer. I have dolphins tattooed around my ankle. That was my first tattoo. I also have butterflies representing me and my girls and a dragonfly representing my husband on my back. I know I am not done. It's very addicting. The butterflies I got done this summer too! I also put my name, my girls names and my husbands each with their own butterfly/dragonfly.
