Thanksgiving has come and gone. I've eaten too much and not worked as much as I should have. But that's what vacations are all about. We even officially launched into the holiday season by purchasing a live Scottish Pine that smells lovely and is a bit prickly when you put the lights on. It looks gorgeous with my Tinkerbell tree topper.
Unfortunately, the copyedits for Burn the Night officially arrived just before Thanksgiving and now I am rushed to get it done before the end of the week. The book is long, but it shouldn't be a problem to have it edited by Wednesday for shipping. I then get back to work on my other projects.
In the meantime, I got a correct answer for my tattoo contest much earlier than I had expected so I thought. The winner is RebeccaM80, who wrote "It is from Final Fantasy X Jecht's Symbol. =)"
That is correct. The symbol was worn on Jecht's chest as a type of tattoo.
The symbol was also worn by his son, Tidus, on his pants.
And the final example, is that Yuna wore the symbol during the Final Fantasy X-2 game.
To me, the symbol from the game means devotions and sacrifice to an idea, it stands for love and death.
RebeccaM80, please contact me at JocelynnDOTdrakeATgmailDOTcom and we can come up with an appropriate prize. Is there a book or two in my series that you would like signed? Send me an email! Thanks and congrats!
