Wait for Dusk Is Out

Actually, Wait for Dusk was out yesterday, but I am running a day behind due to travel. The fifth book hit the stores on Tuesday and I'm already hearing positive things back from avid, wonderful readers. Mira has the reins again with this book and I have to admit that I think this one is my bloodiest so far. But I also think it is one of my sexiest. Blood and sex -- I wonder what that says about me.

Anyway, in case you haven't picked it up yet, here is a brief description of the book:

"There is no sanctuary in the night . . .

Feared even by her own kind for her mastery of fire, the nightwalker Mira is summoned by the coven to take her rightful place as Elder. But with this honor comes grave responsibility—a commitment to the annihilation of the unleashed naturi. For now the foul creatures walk the earth—and neither vampire nor human will survive their horrific onslaught.

A tide of blood is sweeping relentlessly across the European continent, as Mira is dispatched to Budapest for the most devastating test yet of her astonishing powers—and falls into a well-laid trap. With the dark secrets that haunt her growing darker by the hour, she must confront the terrible truth of her past and protect her fragile sanity in the face of unanticipated treachery—a betrayal by her trusted ally, her beloved enemy, the vampire slayer Danaus."

Now doesn't that just sound too cool? I thought so. Please, head out to your local bookstore and pick up a copy. If you can't find it, please ask a bookstore worker. They will be happy to help you. If you can't go to the store, there's always ordering online. Please, help support the Dark Days series. You don't want to miss out on this next installment.

In the meantime, I am currently at the Romance Writers of America conference in Orlando, Florida. I will be doing a mass signing with about 300 other authors tonight and another more intimate signing on Friday. So come join the fun if you are in the area!

Also, I have a new blog post up over at Babel Clash talking about reading in the genre. Here is a link.

I also recently had a guest post over at Tynga's Reviews that was an interview of Valerio. Click here to see what that sexy vampire has to say.

Finally, here is a great review of Pray for Dawn from Larissa's Bookish Life. Click here to read it.
