Good Writing Session Happy Dance

Yeah, I'm just throwing words together in the title now. I am happy to report that I put in more than 4,000 words today, which is starting to put me back on track again. I'm running behind, but I'm beginning to realize that running behind must be a natural state of being for me. I guess that's why I'm generally smart enough to figure in extra time for me to be running behind.

But now I'm babbling. I didn't get to write on Sunday as I had planned because I spent the better part of four hours pulling together, organizing, and calculating receipts for my tax accountant. I have my appointment to do my taxes on Wednesday and I'm dreading it. I know that I owe, but I'm afraid to ask how much. Fingers are crossed that the next royalty check is a big one so that it covers 2009 taxes.

Turning to today, I was able to jump into a fun chapter that brings back a character that I introduced in Dawnbreaker -- Shelly the earth witch. Shelly is a lot of fun because she is in many ways the exact opposite of my own personality. She can be really hard to write, but at the same time, I love the way that she manages to get under Mira's skin.

Tomorrow brings chapter 13, which is drawing in more characters that have not appeared in the series in a while. I can't wait!

On a scarier note, I have another training appointment tomorrow. The one on Friday was great and I feel like I'm back in the swing of things. However, before I start my work out tomorrow, we have to take measurements. Once a month, we take measurements to make sure that inches are being gained and lost in the right places. I'm dreading mine. I'm afraid that I haven't lost any inches yet. (sad sigh) Wish me luck.

Good luck! The pounds and inches will come off. Just stick to it and the results will follow! :)

I've been fighting a sinus infection then I NEED to get back on the treadmill, and knocking off the sweets would be good too:)

That is an awesome word count. A happy dance is indeed called for.
