Radio Silence

This will be my last blog posting for a while, as I will be leaving for Florida on Saturday morning and won't be acquiring Internet access again until Wednesday at the earliest.

I am very happy to report that the initial edits for Book 4 have been completed and I will be shipping the book off to my editor and my agent today. I will be able to completely relax during this vacation. However, I know that my editor will have my edit letter for Book 4 waiting for me when I get back from vacation. The First Pass edits for Dawnbreaker are also just around the corner.

Knowing me and my complete inability to totally relax, I will probably start plotting out Book 5 on the plane ride. Book 5 is due to my editor on October 1, so this is going to be a busy year.

Be sure to check back on occasion. When I catch a glimpse of Wi-Fi, I will try to Twitter and post pictures to the blog. Also, after Dayhunter is released on April 28, I will start running some contests.

Finally, I missed this earlier in the week. Sorry. DearAuthor.com posted by First Sale Letter on Monday. If you would like to read the story of how I finally found an agent and got my first sale, please click here.

Otherwise, have a great weekend and I hope to see you at the RT Convention.

Hey Jocelynn, you know you can send and receive tweets from your phone, right? You just need to hook it up with your phone from twitter.com and then in the states you send your text to 40404 and it will show up on twitter!

I was thinking about Tweeting via cell, but I'm a really, really slow texter.

Cell-tweets are pretty awesome! The only charges applied are the ones your carrier charges for texts. It's nice knowing what my friends are up to while I'm sitting in lecture. And the more you text the faster your texting speed will be! I use the word predictor when I text.
