Tweet Tweet

I've found a new toy to play with. Okay, so it's not quite so new. I've known about it for quite a while, but I've been dragging my feet about giving it a try. I figured that if I can't keep up with my blog on a daily basis, how could possible come up with something to say on a daily basis on Twitter? Well, in the end, I've decided that I'll never know until I actually give it a try.

What is Twitter? From what I have seen, it's place where people can post quick thoughts on what they're doing, seeing, or thinking at any given moment during the day. It ranges from regular newsfeeds, such as CNN, to everyday random bloggers, like myself, who have only the most random things to comment on.

However, this new experiment comes with a bit of a dilemma. I have some followers already despite the fact that I've never tweeted on Twitter. These followers obviously recognize my name, but I'm not sure if they're following me because they like my vampire books, or (gasp!) because they are interested in what I have to say about the stock market (my day job). So, as a result, there will be a mix of comments: thoughts on writing, thoughts on urban fantasy, thoughts on the stock market, and (sigh) probably some random rambling about life in general.

From my understanding, you can follow me directly on Twitter, or you should be able to see the feed on my Blogger or LiveJournal accounts. If all goes well, I will probably add it to my MySpace page as well. Wish me luck.

Hi Jocelynn,

I use Twitter also. I use it to follow authors, tech stuff, news, well pretty much anything that is of interest to me. I love it because it fun to see what everyone has to say whether it is just a random tidbit or something of great importance.

Glad to see on Twitter. I'm following you now! (Wow, that could come across as creepy. Huh? lol)

Don't know if you were aware, but you also appear to have a fan club on Facebook:

I'm following you for both reasons.

Stocks and stakes. ;-)
