The Edits Continue

I've been a little under the weather recently, which has slowed down my progress. I am currently waiting to hear back from the Geek Squad regarding my fried computer. In the meantime, I have been working on the edits for the novella that is due to my editor. I have the first round of changes completed, but now I feel like I need to read through it a few times to tighten up the writing and make it sing. There is something very awkward about this length of story. My short stories tend to be a few thousand words. My novels range around 100,000 to 115,000 words. Novellas ... novellas are strange animals that I don't quite have a comfort zone for yet. I guess I just need to write a few more to get the hang of them.

In the plus column, I just received the cover for Dayhunter and IT IS AWESOME! I wish I could show it, but we are still months away from that. I just simply love my publisher. They are really good when it comes to kick-ass covers.

Aw, hope you feel better soon! And I can't wait until you're allowed to post the cover for Dayhunter!
