Yep, I finally finished the last chapter tonight. I think it has a nice twist in it and some characters really got the chance to shine. I am pleased... and very relieved.
I still have to read through the book one last time, catching typos and revising one location, but the heavy lifting is done.
On Friday, I want everyone to stop what they are doing for one minute and toast yourself and something you accomplished. Whether it is finishing a book, a chapter, a scene, or just surviving the week, raise a glass of wine, vodka, tequila, or in my case, Diet Mountain Dew (I've got to pack and edit on Friday) and toast yourself. Trust me, you deserve it.
