Relaxing

The book has been shipped to my editor, who is at a convention in Canada. God love her, she's reading my book and working a conference at the same time.

I am, personally, hoping that it takes her a few days to read the book so I can catch up on life again. I discovered that I had a stack of two weeks worth of mail (including bills) that needed to be taken care of. My laundry, clean and dirty, is everywhere. And my bathroom... yeah, my bathroom is kinda of scary right now. So, my job during the next few days is to finally clean my house and line up what I am going to work on in November -- National Novel Writing Month. With any luck, it won't be Nightwalker, again.

On the plus side, I got to see my book cover **Insert Snoopy Dance** and it's freaking awesome!!!! As soon as I get the clear from my editor, it's going on the blog, I promise. It's killing me not to show it off.

Also, I am going to catch up on some reading. Apparently my answer to getting through my edits has been to buy new books... lots of books. I have a massive stack of reading waiting for me. I am finishing up Vicki Pettersson's first book, The Scent of Shadows, and I'm re-reading parts of Rachel Vincent's first book, Stray. I will keep you posted on the books and probably give a few reviews. And if you've got any suggestions, I'll happily taken them. I'm always looking for a good book, regardless of the genre.

As a side note, I am testing out a new toy on the blog as well. I will be listing the books that I am reading via a new toy that provides an image of the cover and a link back to Amazon.com.

You're rereading parts of my book? Cool. But the question must be asked: why? ;-)

I can't wait to see yours in print!

Because I want to keep it fresh in my mind for when you give me a sneak peek at Rogue... *wink wink*
