I am back today to announce not only the winner of the signed copy of Angel's Ink, but also the second title of the final book for the Asylum Tales and to kick off the next contest.
First, the winner! Of the 23 contest entries for the signed Angel's Ink, the name drawn is Dawn Wigand. Dawn, please email me your mailing address to JocelynnDOTdrakeATgmailDOTcom and I will drop your book in the mail as soon as possible.
And onto the next title. As I announced last week, the final book of the Asylum Tales is going to be released in three parts as ebooks. There are currently no plans to release it as a print book. If that changes, I will update you!
The first part is called DEMON'S FURY and will be released on October 14.
The second part is called....
DEMON'S VOW
And it will be released on October 21.
I have heard that the artist is hard at work on the covers. I can't wait to see them!
In the meantime, I am kicking off the next contest. I am giving away a signed copy of Dead Man's Deal. The contest is open to domestic and international readers. I just need you to leave me a comment with your name stating what design you would like for a tattoo (even if you are never ever going to get a tattoo). The contest ends on Thursday, May 29. I will announce the winner and the final title on May 30.

I would have a compass.
Something simple and small but I like the idea that I can always find my way. That's what my compass would mean to me.
I want another elephant tattoo, haven't decided anything other than that so far.
Want my next one to be book related. So maybe a coyote paw print
My daughters all have tattoos so I have thought about what I would get. I would have a full dragon from my arm across my back down the other arm.
Hmmm...a tattoo...Kim Harrison's Burning Bunny logo! Would probably have to ask her permission first, but I've met her several times already! But yeah not a needle person so it would never happen anyway!! ;)

My next tattoo...I would get the Phoenix.
I actually have my nephew drawing my next tat.....something with a dagger & vines
My next tattoo is going to be a sea turtle on my wrist. Sea turtles are in a book I read and I've loved them ever sense.
Dragon! I always love dragon, so I will get dragon tattoo. Also an angel wings tattoo in the back will be nice. That's why I love Angel's Ink cover
Tattoo design, well that is a problem, and the whole reason that I have never gotten one. I would most likely get a graphic I did back in art school, but it is a large area of solid black and I don't want that. So the quandary continues. Maybe Bronx, Trixie, or Gage could help me with modifying the design.
Love the series, even more than the Dark Days, and I liked Mira a lot.
My next tattoo will be a peacock feather!!
Right now I do not have a tattoo, and frankly getting one freaks me out. (I HATE needles, and so does the vibrating sound.) But, if for some reason I do take the plunge I would get a crescent moon.
I've always had a thing for suns and eyes; so if I ever did get one, I think I would want a combination of the two.

I would get a yin yang symbol. Pretty much describes me :)
I am getting the Batman symbol on my right shoulder blade and The Def Leppard logo on the left.
Smoke circling up from a campfire beside a still pool encircled by an oval of twining ivy representing the four elements.
An alligator with a butterfly on its nose. I love butterflies and as for the alligator. - really short version is I was al out alligator food one time in FL at the Okeefanokee swamp. So now everyone buys me stuffed alligators. I really want to get this so it's going on my ankle when I loose 30 pounds
