Sorry about the long pause in blogging, but I’ve been busy. I’ve got a few interesting announcements that you might enjoy.
First, the rough draft of Asylum Tales Book 3 is DONE! Yep, I finished it last night and tried very hard not to cry. It has turned out to be a very dark book, but I think it is also a very good book. I’m sure when I go through for editing I’ll completely change my mind. But then writer-me and editor-me have very different ideas of what is good. The book is extremely rough and need a lot of work. Luckily, I’ve taken a lot of notes and will be able to pull this bad boy into good shape.
I’m taking a break from Gage in November to work on some other projects, but I am aiming to jump back into edits in December or January. It will give me enough time to get some distance from the manuscript and allow me to approach it with fresh eyes.
In case you missed my posts on Twitter and Facebook, I have a guest blog over at Paranormal Haven. It’s a short short story told by Gage about a recent shopping trip he took with Bronx and Trixie for Halloween costumes. I thought it turned out to be quite amusing. If you’re in need of your Gage fix, stop by and check it out. Also, I am giving away a signed copy of ANGEL’S INK (US only). Hurry and enter!
I think I will have another contest here to celebrate finishing the rough draft, so come back on Friday to hear about my newest giveaway.
And finally: do you need something new to read? A friend and fabulous author Rinda Elliott’s new book, Blood of an Ancient is now available. This is the second book in the series. So here is some details on the books:
