I know I said that I wouldn't be blogging much, but today I'm celebrating and you're going to celebrate with me.
First, today is my first ever wedding anniversary! Yes, one year ago today, my Other Half and I walked down the beach in Waikiki, Hawaii, stood under the clear sky next to the blue water, and got married. I'm sorry that my family wasn't there (it was a kind of surprise, unexpected decision), but it was a perfect wedding.
Since the traditional wedding gift for the first anniversary is paper, I think my OH and I are going to get new books. And bourbon. I'm currently craving an old fashion, but that's going to have wait for the weekend.
The second thing is that I handed in the revised version of the second book of the Asylum Tales last night. Over the past month, the writing was tightened up and the story expanded. In fact, I added more than 17,000 new words, growing the story by four chapters and 50+ pages. My fingers are crossed that my editors likes this new version.
So, to celebrate my wedding anniversary and the completion of my book edit, I am giving away copies of my e-novellas! I am giving away copies of:
The Dead, the Damned, and the Forgotten
Bound to Me
The Asylum Interviews: Bronx
Leave a comment on this blog telling me which novella you want and if you want it as a Nook or Kindle.
The contest ends on Thursday at midnight Eastern time. I will announce the 4 winners on Friday so that you can have some new reading for the weekend.
Also, be sure to keep checking back. I'm in the process of packing up the house for the BIG MOVE and I've located three large boxes filled with my books. I'm not a big fan of the idea of moving those north with me, so there may be a few more giveaways in the future.
