Rattling Bones

I'm off to see the bone doctor today to find out if my hand has officially healed and if I'm allowed to use it again. Unfortunately, I have been using it for quite some time now and I guess the more accurate assessment would be whether I should stop using it for a while. To add to the fun, I've also got a dentist appointment today and then a stop over at the gym. I'm starting to wonder when I'm going to get any writing in this week the way my days keep filling up.

I am pleased to report that last night's personal training session focused on my arms for the first time in a month, and it felt so good. It's a little frustrating that I'm lost some of the strength that I had built up, but my personal trainer reassures me that I should be able to regain it in relatively short order. I currently rotate between two personal trainers and I have a feeling that they are going to be fighting over who gets to work my arms next since we've been on a forced hiatus for the past month.

In the meantime, my fingers are crossed that I am able to jump back into book 6 with no problems by Wednesday at the latest. I had my deadline for that book extended already and I think I should be able to hit it with few problems. (That's assuming, of course, that I don't fall and fracture the other hand during the next month.)

Looking ahead, I have less than 10 days until my big vacation. My family and I are heading down to Florida for a week of sun, beaches, Disney World, and Universal Studios. It's going to be a blast and I hope to have most of Book 6 done so I don't give it a single thought while I'm on this much needed vacation. Almost immediately after I return from vacation, I will be heading off to the RomanticTimes Booklovers Convention in Columbus, Ohio. And then.... I will be writing again and starting to plan out promotion for Pray for Dawn and Wait for Dusk!!!

Hope all goes well at the doctor's! And the dentist! Man two in one day. Harsh.

Have fun on vacation! Disney World and Universal are my faves, but I won't be back there until my niece is older, unless I win the lottery!

Are you going to check out the new Harry Potter park at Universal? Should be cool!

I'll get to see you at RT this year! My first year going and am SUPER excited! I want to be a writer and I graduate from college that same week. Really excited and nervous!

See you soon!

The doctor's appts went well and everything is well or on the mend at least.

The new Harry Potter won't be open yet when we arrive, but I hope to see some of it from a distance.

It will be great to see you at RT!!
