The Weekend!

I swear, I'm done giving updates on the weather here. This is my blog, not the weather channel (even though the weather is still ugly here). For me, I think February is the worst month of the year. In my area, it tends to be the month that gets the most snow and ice. But I think it's also the idea that you're in the home-stretch at this point. You've survived two months of winter and you can see Spring just around the corner. It's so close you can almost taste it, and yet you have to survive this onslaught of snow and ice and sickess just to get there. At least, February is also the shortest month of the year.

There's not much to report. I am planning to settle in this weekend and try to get most of book 2 completed. I don't think I will be able to completely finish the ending, but I should get very close. We're slowly making some progress on the website. I am hoping to be able to launch a couple more pages this weekend, but we're still debating about the layout.

If you haven't seen it, be sure to stop by and check out the new layout and design of Rachel Vincent's site. Very cool.

Also, I stopped over on Eos's blog and my editor mentioned a very cool video that another Eos author had posted. It is fantastic! It's vampires and Legos -- a perfect combination. The video is based on Mario Acevedo's series about a vampire detective. The first book in the series is "The Nymphos of Rocky Flats" and the second one is "X-Rated Blood Suckers". I'll admit that I haven't gotten the chance to read them yet, but they are on the top of my to-be-read pile. I just love the covers and titles.

But, here the video for a great weekend distraction and laugh.

Yep, definitely good stuff. I really liked the music too. I wish I was that creative.
