Internet Goodness

The work on the book has slowed down just a bit. I met with my brother for a couple hours today to go over the layout of the website. He's got most of the design done. At this point, he's just working on the graphics. I'm getting anxious. I can't wait to launch it! It's going to be something that we are constantly tweaking until Nightwalker is released a the end of July. A splashpage for the site has already been launched as a place-holder. We're hoping to launch the bulk of the site in the next week or two.

A smaller side project that I am playing around with is almost finished. In a moment of what may prove to be insanity, I have decided to let Mira, the vampire and main character of my book Nightwalker, have her own MySpace page. This blog will remain my place to talk about writing and the series. But if you want the real dirt on what's going on in her world, you can go to Mira's MySpace page. I'm going to try to get her to post a blog at least once a week.

The page is out there, if you can find it. (Mwahaha...) I'll post a link to it on this blog once I get her to start blogging and when I come up with a strong enough warning to scare away those with a weak constitution. You gotta remember that this is a 600+ year old vampire with an attitude, temper, and serious chip on her shoulder. The phrase "politically correct" doesn't mean anything to her. Approach with caution.

Oh goody! I seriously don't know how you keep up. I seriously have issues with switching between different sites. My two blogs are enough to squeaze me out.

PS: Looking forward to the page though.

I love the placeholder for your website. :) It's great!

As for the myspace...woo-hoo! I don't have a myspace myself; is the content going to be something I need an account to view?

Looking forward to the rest of the site!

By the way...I found the myspace. :)

Yeah, I didn't exactly try to hide it. I was afraid I'd forget something one day and never be able to find it myself.

I'm still learning about MySpace, but I don't think you need an account to see the page. I'm not sure about the blog, though.

I don't think Mira will be blogging too often and it may be only on the days that I don't blog here. Of course, she could prove me wrong...
