It can set just the right backdrop for inspiration. :-)<br /><br />Is there any other artists that you like to listen to while you write? <br /><br />I've found several authors creating playlists (either of what they listened to while writing or what they imagine would be the soundtrack to go along with the book) lately. I think it's rather intriguing. I have seen Stephenie Meyer and Rachel Caine do so. It is fun for me as a reader to listen to that music while reading the books. I haven't seen J. R. Ward make a list, but I've created my own playlist to listen to while reading her books based on songs she mentions the characters listening to (including mostly rap, which I usually dislike but which helps set the scene well).
